Hellooooo welcome back! Helllooo if you're new!


Remember that saying "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." If it wasn't that exactly it was something along those lines. 2 nights ago HS woke me up, I am usually awakened around the 3 am hour. So I'm like ok God what's up? please don't give me a riddle just give it to me straight. He proceeds to say "your approach matters". AND I'm like okkkkkkk now what? It was silent after that so I'm like ok so then I prayed and went back to sleep.


Fast forward to today I was feeling slightly down, thinking about a few things that I have coming up and wondering how I'm going to handle them. He whispered to me this afternoon and said "your approach matters". I then re-realized that everything that I need HE has already equipped me with. Don't you love it when you re-remember something that you know that you know?! I was so blessed that he reminded me to get up and fight back. We often let the devil in a cracked window and then we let him take over the house and then we're crying and praying and praying and crying to God instead of what?!! APPROACHING the devil like the snake that he is and rebuking him! We need to tell him to back up! When we resist the devil he will flee (James 4:7) but also, when we square up with him he'll flee because he can't handle the heat! He can't argue at the fact that no matter what he says and does HE still has his home in HELL waiting on him! He also can't argue with what God says about you! Keep in mind that the devil knows the bible as well so he will twist the words of the scripture and warp them into something else entirely.


I was going to originally say "he can't stand what the Rock is cooking". Do y'all remember when The Rock was a wrestler hahahahah!!I I stepped away and then came back to my laptop and reread what I wrote andddd! he definitely didn't say that but what he did say was "do you smell what the Rock is cooking?" Ok, but seriously STAND UP and approach that situation with your granny panties on! You need full coverage undies and the full armor of God to fight the devil! We can't do any half stepping.


Do not be afraid! God did not give us the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). This post was placed on my heart to keep you encouraged and to fight back. Do not give up! Your time is coming but God needs to know that you can handle it, he wants to see how you react when you're tested. Did you know that the devil has to stand in line to interact with God? We can just pray at any given time and OUR God will show up! I encourage you to read Job 1-2, it talks about God asking the devil where he had been and then God actually asks "Did you notice my servant Job"? After that the only thing God specifically said was "you are not to kill him" (Job 2:6). The devil cannot do anything without Gods permission! God allows certain things to happen to us but HE will bless you double for everything that you have lost (Job 8:7). God puts you in that season so that he can mold you and form you for his glory! We sometimes don't go through things for ourselves but to give our testimony to someone else. Think about that the next time you're in a storm. This storm might be here just so that the story can help someone else. He gives his biggest battles to his toughest soldiers. In my BFF'S voice 'I'm tired of being a no limit soldier". No storm is bigger than GOD!


Whatever the situation, how you approach it matters! Remember that! If you dwell on the negatives then negatives will happen. Always remember Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
