Hi friends!!! Please pardon me for getting back to you so late! Welcome in if you're new and welcome back if you've been here before

I didn't want to rush so expect to see 2 posts this month, 1 for this month and 1 from last month

Let's start with a check in! How are you? Truly ask yourself and mean it!

As always I love to look up words and get the proper definition.

According to Google the definition of distraction is - "a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to somthing else."

How many of you have been distracted from hearing God's voice? I'll raise my hand and admit it. What have you been doing to tune into God? Have you really been trying?

For me honestly it's a hit or miss! Some days are better than others but I want to do better and I want to be better. What does that look like?

  1. Do more than try

  2. Stick to a gameplan and complete it

  3. Start with reading 1 scripture a day

  4. Look for scriptures that you can relate to

  5. Find an accountability buddy

  6. When you can't find it to read remember to pray

  7. Guard your eyes, ears, and mouth - Phillipians 4:8

Within the last 3 days of me starting this post the devil felt like he had something to prove. A few things started popping off buttttt it's all a distraction! HS keeps reminding me to keep my eyes on HIM and to remain in prayer. What is happening in your life that is a distraction and keeping you from God? What is going on around you that you need to sort out in order to hear God? What do you need to drop in order to hear God's voice?

I pray that this was helpful and that you share this with someone that can benefit from it.

Here are a few scriptures to keep you encouraged.

Phillipians 4:8 NLT - Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

1 Corinthians 7:35 NLT - I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.

I encourage you to read the portion of Luke 10 to gain full understanding to

Luke 10:41 NLT - "Martha, Matha! You are worried and troubled over so many things, but just one is needed. Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken away from her."
