Howdy! Welcome in! Thank you for coming back!

How are you feeling and not how society says you should feel?

Sidenote: Typing this up should be a breeze since I took my nails off! Can you believe that my natural nail split all the way across and under my arcyrlic nail? Shout out to my girl Tab who was able to get me in ASAP!

Growing up I use to think that my mom was strict because she always had us on a schedule and I just wanted to do my own thing! Doing my own thing in my adult life led to me panic cleaning because someone was on the way or had shown up and I had to hurry up and make my house look presentable. This might sound weird because my parents NEVER did that! They are very organized people!

I was just sitting and thinking and talking to God and I was just sitting there thinking about what I needed to change and overcome before and going into the New Year!

I really thought that I could be a laid back, non planner and HE really placed it on my heart that he DOES NOT operate in chaos! He has a time and place for everything Ecc 3:1. Ever get so overwhelmed or anxious because you overslept or the kids don't have their socks and shoes on or when you leave your phone in the upstairs bedroom and you're already packed in the car? Yes, I know! Let it sink it!

Especially now as a mother of 3 I have to prepare all areas of my life! If I need to be somewhere by 9 that means getting up at 6 is a requirement! That means that preparing my meals is a must! That means that picking out clothes is a must! It means that cleaning up at night is a must! It means that organization is a must! It means that MY GOD is going to see me through even with all my mess but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't try.

So like many times before I have started to set timers! Listen HE said to be childlike in posture Matthew 18:2-3 and Luke 18:16. If we're called to be like him then how am I like him by living in chaos and confusion and rushing? Those are characteristics of the enemy! I have been flying by the seat of my pants, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, do you catch my drift?

Once I sit down or lay down all bets are off! I was sitting there playing Words With Friends tonight and I said "ma'am don't you have things to do?" So I set my timer so that I could get off of Words With Friends and come to resume my Kingdom assignment. I get so overwhelmed when I know I have a deadline and in like other posts you see me saying "I'm trying to hurry up and finish this post before midnight." But tonight New Years Eve I said "we're not doing that old thing anymore."

I encourage you to set a timer or write it down! I use my Google calendar a lot but I need a physical copy as well! Meal planning has helped me as well! Not in a sense of prepping all my meals and making them in advance because I don't like that buttttt what I am doing is at least getting all of the meats that I want to have that week and then getting the veggies and supplies that go along with it. I aslo like to keep certain things on hand in case I didn't prep. I have learned that each day won't look the same and in case I miss the prep work I am not scrambling to get food orrrr having to order out. Idk about you but during pregnancy and post partum some things just don't taste the same. I can taste when food isn't fresh and eating at certain American restaurants don't make my stomach feel good.

For example bread, tortillas, pasta sauce, pasta noodles, fresh veggies and fruits are always in my fridge because you can make something out of nothing with those items!

Alsooooooo instead of keeping events in the groupchat I have now been setting a date to meet with friends and play dates. I have to get ahead of things and these tools have been helping me. I pray that this has blessed you and I pray that you send this to someone that it can bless.

Scriptures Used:

Ecclesiastes 3:1- AMP- There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event ot purpose under heaven-

Matthew 18:2-3 - AMP- He called a little child and set him before them, and said, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent [that is, change your inner self-your old way of thinking, live changed lives] and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving], you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 18:16 - AMP - But Jesus called them to Himself, saying [to the apostles], "Allow the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
