I thank you for reading and following along!!! Welcome if you're new and welcome BACK for my returning readers.
SOOOOO the title, faith still..... HS is not lettng up on having faith. I'm going to take you on a ride and explain how I HAD to have faith.
Soooo it all started when I was looking for flights to come back the USA. At 1st the tickets started out at about $3200 which wasn't too bad. Buttttttt I waited and tickets kept going up and the last time I checked they got up to $6K. At this point I was so done that all I could do was go to bed and cry!! I prayed and cried and cried and prayed. I wanted to take Space A (it's a flight for military members) but I had heard all types of negative things about it. Finally I say you know what at ths rate the tickets will be $10K and who has that type of money laying around.
HS kept reminding me that it woud never be this hard if HIS hand was on it so I said there has to be another way. Also, lets backtrack! I found the $3200 tickets on American Airlines Japan!!! Mind you that was with the conversion rate from YEN to USD so as I'm trying to purchase the tickets AA is not lettng me beause my address is an APO. Sooooo now I'm trying to add my moms address and I'm getting a message that my address doesn't match the area code on my CC. Sooo now I'm completely done and I decide to call AA . I'm on the line for maybe a hour and we're troubleshooting and nothing is working, the address is just not taking so then the rep is like just call Japan AA or buy it flat out and I said listen I'm not about to call Japan AA and get them worked up for something they probaby can't fix and then I end up paying you more money than I have to.
HS keeps reminding me that I need to step out on faith and trust him..
So after maybe another week I decide I'm going to go ahead and go down to the terminal to figure out how to take Space A. Mind you I'm getting all types of unhelpful info from people that have done it in the past like "it's unreliable", "you're going to wait forever", "it's the worst". While I'm listening to this I'm thinking there has got to be a better way and MY GOD WILL make my experience different from the others. My friend and I end up going down to the terminal and its very intimidating and all of the information that I thought was right was actually wrong!!!
So now we're standing there staring at each other and trying to figure out what to do.
I had a short window of time to get paperwork signed and approved and returned back to me before the flight took off. I also had to sign up for the seats and then the seats go by category so it looked like the odds were against me.

So at this point I went home and did what I needed to do to sign up for Space A and I got my papwerwork together. I had a few chances to get everything I needed done in about a 2 week span. Getting approval and praying and fasting that we would be able to make the flight.
So here comes the day that it's time for me to go down to roll call. I was at roll call for 2 hours! I had to leave work, check in at the terminal, and pray that I would be able to get 3 seats! 1 for me and my kids. After waiting for 2 hours I GET THE Tickets and I make it back to work. Now, I had to pack for myself and the kids for a flgiht that was less than 24 hours away! We knew at what 12pm roughly that we were taking a flight that was taking off the next day at 8:30 am!!! I was so excited and nervous at the same time!!!
So fast forward we make it to the states and I intentionally didn't purchase a ticket from Seattle to Virginia. Why might you ask? Because 1. I couldn't look at another website trying to book tickets! I was still tramatized from trying to find them the week prior and 2. because in case we didn't get to our destination in time I didn't want to deal with the mess. So we're waiting at the counter to book tickets for about 30-45 mins and the clerk realized that the tickets weren't going through because we needed 3 seats and the plane only had 2. By the time she realized that we would've had to run through the airport and I wasn't up for doing that.
So now I'm walking around to other ticket counters at various airlines and some airlines didn't have any flights leaving for several days and others wouldn't allow you to purchase tickets at the counter. So after this I decide we're going to the USO to nap and try again later. So after some food and a nap we go back to the original airline and attempt to book tickets. Sooooo for a flight the next day the tickets were $3K and said absolutely not! So the following day the flight was half the price butttt it left at around 11pm. So after no prayer and talking with my husband and my mom we say ok and book the tickets! Mind you that I'm trying to get to my moms wedding andddd I didn't purchase any tickets from Virginia back to Japan! The clerk told me about a hotel that had a shuttle that would come and pick us up and drop us off to surrounding places in the area and back to the airport. So I said ok bet! Me and my kids are walking through the airport with our bags and trying to find out where the shuttle is and as soon as we get to the destination we see the shuttle driving by!!! So I had to call back and tell the front desk where we were and that we'll be waiting.
My kids are telling me how cold they are so I'm grabbing clothes out of the diaper bag and blankets and jackets to keep them warm! Sidenote I'm using this time to say how much we love the USO and how amazing they are!! So now we're at the hotel and we meet 2 of the sweetest women working at the front desk! They are giving us the run down and we get checked in. The sigh of relief that I let out after traveling for 24 hours with 2 small kids after closing that hotel door! So now it's time to wash the airplane off of our booties and order some pizza.
We end up ordering a pizza from a Indian restaurant and boy did it not disappoint!!! The next day I had all these plans to go out an explore, yeah WRONG! We slept until 12 the next afternoon! It was some well needed sleep. I wanted to take a walk to Starbucks but it started raining and it was COLD! So we go back to the room and ordered Popeyes and we just hung out in the room. I ended up ordering too much food so I call downstairs and ask the 2 clerks that helped us if they would like some sandwiches and they say yes. I thought that wasn't enough so I go into my snack bag and pull out a bunch of Japanese goodies and share with the girls. The next few hours we were on a flight to VA.
To wrap up the remainder of the trip was aweome!! We enjoyed seeing family and friends and enjoying Walmart and Target. We prayed and we were able to take Space A back to Japan from Seattle! We had an amazing trip using Space A and we would totally do it again! I just knew that God had to make a way. He truly showed up for us!
This post is to remind you that we make things harder than they truly have to be! My friend taught me that today during a 6 hour lunch/walk/planning/brainstorm/craft plannning afternoon!
Our God is not a God of confusion 1 Cor 14:33. He worked everything out for our good but that only happens when we trust him and place our faith in him!
I pray that this messages blesses you and that you send this to someone who needs it!

Nothing is impossible with God! - Luke 1:37 TPT
And without faith liviing within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him. - Hebrews 11:6 TPT
For God is the God of harmony, not confusion, as is the pattern in all the churches of God's holy believers. - 1 Corinthians 14:33
