When it's one of those days

Hello!!!! (In my mind I was saying it like Dori from Finding Nemo). Wondering if anyone else is going through anything similar. Everyday my daughter asks "What activity do I have today"? Some of the days when she doesn't have activities it's very difficult because ever since she was an infant we had things scheduled to do. Also, she's like me in that sense. I don't like staying at home all of the time and sometimes I need fresh air. The scripture that I was reminded of was Matthew 6:33-34. I have enough to deal with on this day and I am not promised tomorrow or even the rest of this day. So, in telling my daughter Matthew 6:33-34 it's a great reminder for the both of us. Let's not forget the beginning of that scripture when it tells us to come to the kingdom 1st. Don't get me started on how we come to the kingdom last and try to do things on our own.
My question to you is how do you cope when the house is a mess, you haven't made time to pray, and your kids are on 1K? For me it's praying constantly throughout the day. Do I prefer to get my notebook out, open my bible, and have coffee? Yes, absolutely yes, I do but sometimes that is not always possible. Like I tell myself I have to include Jesus in everything that I do so that I can stay grounded. Some days I get a full hour with him and sometimes it's 5 minutes. I'm learning to seek him in everything that I do. He is always there but sometimes we have to do a little searching to find him in those bigger situations.
I pray that whoever is reading this counts to 10, takes a deep breath, and asks our heavenly father what can I do with your strength to solve this problem? I pray that your days get a tad easier but that you remember that this too shall pass and that the house won't be a mess forever and that you are exactly where God intended for you to be.
Celebrate life,
J. Rose
